Several banks are considering imposing negative rates on deposits of their large customers.

The ECB already “compensates”, since September 2014, its deposits with a negative rate of 0.2%.
With the idea that those who are hoarding have to be penalized and those who are taking risks, providing credit and circulating money have to be encouraged.
